This checklist is a great tool that asks you questions and shows energy saving items that are proven to save money.
First- Start by going down the list and answering yes or no to the item questions.
Next- Put in the quanity of the items you have answered yes to. This allows you to see the estimated cost and potential savings for each item and will calculate the savings rank.
The base energy rates are for the Seattle area and very conservative. Your savings may be much greater. Even if you don't live in the Puget Sound area the Checklist will to let you know where you can spend your hard earned dollars for the biggest payback regardless of your budget. This is the sample checklist.
